Company Overview
Marice Recruitment Agency Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team, working across offices, schools and other commercial premises.

Role Description
As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our clients' commercial premises. The successful candidate will ensure that all areas of the premises are clean and tidy, and that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the commercial premises, including offices, corridors, toilets and kitchens
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including desks, chairs and equipment
- Empty trash and recyclables
- Restock cleaning supplies and paper products
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks

Skills & Competencies
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Physical ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of health and safety
- Previous commercial cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)

Duties
- Complete cleaning tasks in line with the site schedule
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults
- Ensure all areas are left clean, tidy and secure at the end of a shift

Requirements

- Right to Work in the UK
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety
- Understanding of COSHH (training provided if required)
Pay Rates:
- Weekday day shift: £13.50/hr
- Weekday night shift: £14.00/hr
- Weekend day shift: £14.00/hr
- Weekend night shift: £14.50/hr
- Bank holidays paid at time and a quarter (1.25x)
