1. POSITION OVERVIEW
Marice Recruitment Agency Ltd (MRA) is seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to support care homes, nursing homes, and private healthcare facilities across London. Candidates will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents and patients.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Support mobility and safe handling (using hoists where required)
Monitor and record patient conditions (temperature, pulse, respiration)
Assist with feeding and hydration
Provide emotional support and companionship
Maintain hygiene and infection control standards
Support nurses and senior healthcare staff in daily care duties
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting
3. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting (preferred)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (advantageous)
Right to work in the UK
Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Up-to-date mandatory training (Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Basic Life Support, Infection Control)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
