Marice Recruitment Agency Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a flexible basis, supporting hospitality clients.
Role Description
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of client premises to a high standard, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain premises, including dusting, vacuuming and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Launder and iron linens and towels where required
- Organise and tidy living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Perform other housekeeping tasks as needed
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent cleaning and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
Duties
- Complete housekeeping tasks in line with the site schedule
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or lost property to the supervisor
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety
- Understanding of COSHH (training provided if required)
Pay Rates:
- Weekday day shift: £13.50/hr
- Weekday night shift: £14.00/hr
- Weekend day shift: £14.00/hr
- Weekend night shift: £14.50/hr
- Bank holidays paid at time and a quarter (1.25x)
