Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time onsite role based in London. As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, Challenging behaviour, mental health conditions, and complex care requirements.
Your role will involve promoting independence, supporting daily activities, and ensuring individuals feel safe, respected, and valued within their environment. As we provide 24/7 support, flexibility is essential, and shifts may vary based on service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities (e.g. cooking, cleaning, shopping)
- Promote independence and encourage participation in social and community activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with personal care where required
- Support with medication (where trained and authorised)
- Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or well-being
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Follow care plans and risk assessments
Skills & Competencies
- Compassionate and person-centred approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a support or care role (desirable but not essential)

- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and maintaining independence
- Assist with daily routines and structured activities
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals
- Maintain accurate care records and reports
- Uphold health and safety and safeguarding standards
- Participate in training and continuous professional development
- Genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Caring, patient, and reliable nature
- Flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and nights)
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
- Previous experience is advantageous but not required
