We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in Care / Support Workers to join our growing team. Role Description
This is a live-in position where you will stay with the client in their home for an agreed period, providing continuous care and support.
As a Live-in Care / Support Worker, you will assist with daily routines, promote independence, and provide companionship, ensuring the client feels safe, comfortable, and supported at all times.
Flexibility is essential, as placements may vary in duration depending on client needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Promote independence and dignity at all times
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers
- Support with medication (where trained and authorised)
- Monitor and report any changes in health or well-being
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment

Skills & Competencies
- Compassionate, patient, and caring approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home
- Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care
- Knowledge of manual handling and health & safety practices
- Previous live-in or care experience (desirable but not essential)

Duties
- Support clients with daily routines and personal care needs
- Assist in following individual care plans
- Build positive and trusting relationships with clients
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Uphold dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times

Requirements

- Genuine interest in providing high-quality care in a home setting
- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Caring, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to live with clients for agreed placements
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to follow care plans accurately
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
